A loving husband, son, brother, and friend

Olakunle Bamidele Olashore, fondly called "Kunle" by those closest to him, was born in Ibadan, on March 5th, 1969. The third of sixteen children, and the second son, he was raised in a rich family history, a direct descendant of the Ajagbusi-Ekun Royal Dynasty, Iloko-Ijesha Osun State.

Education and Early Career

Kunle received his primary education at Sacred Heart Private School, Onireke, and Army Children School, Iwo Road, before attending Saint Patrick's Grammar School, Bashorun, all in Ibadan. Following his secondary education in 1987, he secured admission into the prestigious University of Ibadan, where he studied Physical Education and graduated in 1993. He served his nation in the NYSC there after.

Kunle's thirst for knowledge continued as he pursued a Masters degree in Personnel Psychology and MBA 

Banking Career and Rise to Management

Kunle began his professional journey in the banking sector, starting as a banking officer at Regent Bank, which later became Stanbic IBTC Bank where he rose through the ranks quickly. He then transitioned to Access Bank as a human resources (HR) professional. Throughout his career, Kunle was known for his hard work, focus, and diligence. These qualities propelled him through the ranks, eventually leading him to a senior management position, which he held until his passing.

Family Life

Kunle found love with Yemi Aluko, a banker from Ilesha, Osun State. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with a son, Olaoluwa Olashore. Family was central to Kunle's life, and he was a devoted husband, son, and brother. He was always there for his loved ones, offering support and guidance.

Leadership and Faith

Beyond his professional success, Kunle was a natural leader. He actively participated in youth political forums (he founded the Progressive Youth Forum which metamorphosized into the youth arm of the current People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and various associations, leaving a lasting impression with his dedication and excellence. In his later years, his faith grew stronger. He became more contemplative about life's true meaning, finding solace in his devotion to God.

Legacy

Olakunle Bamidele Olashore is fondly remembered by his wife Yemi, son Olaoluwa, mother, brothers, sisters, and a wide circle of friends and colleagues. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, faith, and unwavering love for his family and God.
