He actively participated in youth political forums (he founded the Progressive Youth Forum which metamorphosized into the youth arm of the current People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and various associations, leaving a lasting impression with his dedication and excellence. In his later years, his faith grew stronger. He became more contemplative about life's true meaning, finding solace in his devotion to God.
